The red dress and gold shoes presented in this piece were also part of my Leftovers series. In Good Girl, the dress and shoes are suspended so as to look like a young female human figure. The objects are held together by ropes that are attached to a wooden component that resembles a mobile or a puppet controller. The whole piece is suspended from a ceiling grid and rotates on its own (three rotations right, then three rotations left, then repeat). It is powered by a stepper motor.
